After graduating from the Greek Lyceum in Hamburg, whose curriculum was characterised by a strong theoretical focus on literature, linguistics and philosophy and which provided me with an intensive linguistic and cultural education in Ancient Greek and Modern Greek, I laid the foundation for my classical philology studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. This unique mix of profound language skills, analytical methodology and a deep interest in the ancient roots of our Western tradition sharpened my competences in the humanities and paved the way for a sustainable and enriching academic career. The Lyceum sharpened my understanding of the language to such an extent that my increased level of German was clearly reflected in the Deutsches Großes Sprachdiplom, which I obtained immediately after graduation - the Lyceum was the first catalyst.
The six years I spent studying Classical Philology (Ancient Greek and Latin) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki broadened my professional and personal horizons in the long term. In particular, the intensive study of Ancient Greek - one of the oldest and most traditional languages in the world - not only opened up new approaches to ancient texts and cultural contexts, but also led to a deep understanding of the cultural and historical cradle of Europe. This in-depth knowledge enables me to convey complex humanities topics with historical precision and cultural depth.
This dual perspective of a theoretically sound school education in Hamburg and university specialisation in Greece continues to shape my work and consulting to this day. It enables me to convey complex content with historical depth and linguistic precision, thus bringing the cultural dialogue between Germany and Greece and throughout Europe to life.
